Hey, I’m Alissa and I love taking photos. As a kid, I spent summer days with a disposable 35mm camera, documenting the fast-paced lives of suburban squirrels. After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science, I decided to be an artist. Now I spend several months of the year working with incredible teams to create art and infrastructure for music festivals, and to capture that process. I also love to shoot events, engagements, portraits, animals and architecture. Based in Los Angeles, California, I'm an explorer and always ready to travel!
When camera-less, I can usually be found dancing hard in space leggings, in a forest, building wooden things and art installations with my partner (check out S’more Art Co. for more info), Muay Thai kickboxing, or writing ukulele love songs for my default model/dog, Maizie.
My recent projects include Desert Daze Festival, intricate bamboo structures and the brilliant weirdos who make them, the Portland Winter Light Festival, people wildly in love with each other, hanging out in trees to capture the unique designs of O2 Treehouse projects, and lots of dogs being perfect.
